About SCCC

Silver Creek Conservation Club is a 140+ acre wildlife habitat located in Southern Indiana. A natural refuge to wild turkey, deer and other animals, the woodlands and swampland areas offer opportunities for hiking and nature study. It is the perfect setting for the 4-H and Boy Scout programs that make use of the land. Our membership is active in wildlife conservation, trap and pistol shooting.

We offer weekly trap matches on our trap range. Our club's twelve earthen berm pistol bays provide ample space and opportunity for individual practice, law enforcement training, monthly club matches and special events.

Silver Creek Conservation Club is a 501c7 not for profit organization and was founded in 1938, as a civic group for the Conservation of Wildlife and promotion of the shooting sports.  Silver Creek resides on over 140 acres of land that is designated as a Wildlife reserve and as such, no hunting is permitted any where on the property.  It is not uncommon to see large groups of wild turkey, deer and other species of wildlife within the club grounds.

The Boy Scouts of America, 4-H and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and several area law enforcement agencies routinely use the Several Creek Conservation club for camping, gun safety, hunter education and training.

Furthermore Silver Creek has hosted several USPSA/IPSC regional and state tournaments over the last several years and continues to be a leader in the shooting sports in the region.  Please check out our  regular and special event links for upcoming activities at Silver Creek.

As a community based civic group Silver Creek raises funds to donate to several local charities throughout the year.
