Becoming a Member

Membership applications are taken twice a year. There is a March class, and an August class.

Applications are taken for one month preceding, and are then vetted, reviewed, and voted on by existing membership in the following month.

Applicants must be sponsored for membership by two current members of the club, as well as agree to a background check. If you are interested in joining, but do not know any current members, a great way to learn about the club and meet members is to attend one of the monthly membership meetings, or one of the regularly scheduled matches.

Once applications are vetted and background checks are complete, prospective members shall attend the next monthly membership meeting to introduce themselves to the board and the membership present, at which time votes are taken to approve new members.

Once an approved applicant completes a range orientation and safety briefing, they will pay their initiation fee and first year’s dues to become a member in good standing of SCCC, with all rights and privileges thereof.

Application forms are posted in the Membership section of the website in December and June.
